From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. A photograph (often shortened to photo) is an image created by light falling on a light-sensitive surface, usually photographic film or an electronic imager such as a CCD or a CMOS chip. Most photographs are created using a camera, which uses a lens to focus the scene's visible wavelengths of light into a reproduction of what the human eye would see. The process and practice of creating photographs is called photography. The word "photograph" was coined in 1839 by Sir John Herschel and is based on the Greek φῶς (phos) "light" and γραφή (graphê) "representation by means of lines" or "drawing", together meaning "drawing with light". GNU Free Documentation License How to delete photo album from iPod touch but keep the photo library with those photos? Q. On my ipod touch, I have the saved photos album (the deletable ones), the photo library, and my own photo album. The photo library and the photo album have the exact same photos and I know why, but I just don't like it. I also know that I sometimes get it to have just the photo album WITHOUT the photo library, but then when I change some things, it comes back to being both of them on the iTouch. How can I delete one of them but keep the other? Asked by Liza - Tue Nov 17 19:56:38 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. I believe you uncheck that album in itunes and then sync. If you are a student, you should be eligible for student discounts on almost any software. You might have to send in proof, or show a student ID, but it would be worth it. (I know Photoshop CS3 is only around $150 with educational pricing) If you are willing to spend the time to learn it, Photoshop would be the way to go. Photoshop Elements has most of the features of its big brother, and in some respects a nicer user interface. It can be had for around $100 ($35 educational). You might also want to take a look at LightRoom. Your DSLR should also come with a basic editing software / RAW converter. Answered by Jim B - Fri May 2 23:33:46 2008 How to create a photo using photoshop elements 5.0 in black and white with a color focal point?
Q. I have a photo that is already in black and white and would like to change one of the objects to a certain color. I have photoshop elements 5.0 to create my photos in. Any advice would be appreciated. Asked by Pebbles - Mon Jul 13 20:00:51 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Okay, my explanation may not be too detailed so I hope you are familiar with Photoshop Elements. 1) Use one of the lasso tools to select the area you want colored. 2) use the fill tool to fill the area in, if you want you can apply a blur to the fill or smooth to the selection. 3) Set the blend mode to "color". 4) Do this for whatever you want colored. TIP: use each color on a different layer. Hope this helped, also please check out my Photoshop Elements tutorial site below.
